He is fine Chaser. He had to go in and get his Gall Bladder removed due to it causing pain at times due to stones I think.
It was day surgeory and he is home and fine. Just sleepy today from what he sais. Also home bound for the next two weeks due to recovery and the pains meds he is on.
I am sure we are going to be seeing a lot of him in the coming weeks.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. The surgery went fine and now hopefully all the pain I've been having since '98 will be a thing of the past.
But it had to hit me one last time before the surgery [img]frown.gif[/img] . The pain woke me up at 5am Sunday morning so I took the medicine they had given me from my last doctor's visit. This time the medicine didn't help at all so I had Sue take me to the ER. They finally got rid of most of the pain about 2pm and went ahead and admitted me then instead of me having to come back this morning. I definitely would have gotten more rest at home though, lol, since they had to come in and wake me up every 2 hours to take my vitals.
The surgery wasn't too bad, just 4 1/4" incisions on my stomach. I'm a little sore now but the Vicodin they have me on is easily taking care of the pain, lol. Not to mention helping me catch up on the sleep I lost at the hospital. Initially the doctor said I'd be off for 1 week to convalesce but when I got all of the paperwork after the surgery, it had me authorized to be off 2 weeks. And it's all paid time off [img]biggrin.gif[/img] .
So all you bastids that were eyeing my collection pics like vultures over a dead body can move on to the next carcass, lol. But don't be disappointed by yourselves. Sue is down in the dumps cuz she was ready to put the collection up on Ebay, lol. Guess all that insurance money isn't enough [img]eek.gif[/img] . (this part is a joke, lol).
